Shah said that to prevent corona infection in Delhi, testing of corona will be doubled in the next two days and after 6 days the testing will be increased to three times.
New Delhi: Amidst the growing havoc of Corona in the country, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal held a meeting with Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Harsh Vardhan on Sunday. Many important decisions have been taken at this meeting. Home Minister Shah said in a tweet that the Modi government is committed to stopping the Corona infection in Delhi. In view of the lack of beds for patients infected with a corona in Delhi, the central government has decided to immediately give 500 railway coaches to Delhi. These coaches will increase 8000 beds in Delhi.
Shah said that to prevent corona infection in Delhi, testing of corona will be doubled in the next two days and after 6 days the testing will be increased to three times. Also, after a few days, testing will be started at every polling station in the Containment Zone. In order to be able to do contact mapping well in Delhi’s Containment Zone, a comprehensive health survey of every person will be done from house to house, whose report will come in 1 week. Also, to get good monitoring, the Aarogya Setu app will be downloaded in every person’s mobile.
The Home Minister said that a committee was formed under the chairmanship of Dr. Paul to provide 60% of the corona beds at a low rate for corona infection, corona treatment and corona testing in private hospitals in Delhi, and they will submit its report by tomorrow. The Central Government has decided to give five more senior officers of the Government of India to the Delhi Government to prevent the corona infection in Delhi and fight it vigorously.
Shah said that India is fighting strongly with Corona and the government is sad for the people who lost their lives due to this infection and is sensitive towards their families. The government has decided to release new guidelines for the funeral, which will reduce the waiting period for the last rites. The Government of India has fully assured the Delhi Government to meet the necessary resources like oxygen cylinders, ventilators, pulse oximeters, and all other requirements to fight this epidemic.
