In the meeting of Delhi Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal strongly opposed the order of LG Anil Baijal. Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has ordered that if any corona is positive in Delhi, it will be mandatory to go to the Quarantine Center for at least 5 days. Kejriwal said that when ICMR allows home isolation to Corona patients with no symptoms and mild symptoms across the country, so why different rules in Delhi? Due to the opposition of Kejriwal, the meeting has to be stopped midway. Now there will be a meeting again at 5:00 pm.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said in his tweet- “Both the issues at the State Disaster Management Authority meeting – LG sir’s order of private hospital beds rate and to end home isolation were not agreed, now the meeting is again in the evening at 5 o’clock. The Central Government has recommended making only 24% beds cheaper in private hospitals while the Delhi Government is adamant about giving at least 60% beds cheaper this is where the talk is stuck. It will be discussed again in the evening. ”

Chief Minister Kejriwal said, “Most of the corona positive patients have mild symptoms or without symptoms, from where we will arrange to quarantine them? Should our priority be for serious patients or for those without symptoms and mild symptoms?

Kejriwal said, “There is already a shortage of medical staff, now where will the doctors-nurses come to the Quarantine Center for thousands of patients? For fear of quarantine, now people with mild symptoms and without symptoms will avoid taking the test, this will spread the infection further. It will cause panic in Delhi and the entire system will be disturbed. There was no such thing in the whole world that any government should bring the patients without symptoms to the Quarantine Center.

Deputy Governor Anil Baijal has issued the order as the chairman of the Delhi Disaster Management Authority. The order states that every Corona positive person must compulsorily stay in the quarantine center for five days. Only then a person will be sent to home isolation. But if there are symptoms, then it will be sent to the quarantine center or hospital accordingly.
